Picking sticks is exactly what it sounds like - a game where you pick sticks. It may sound easy but both a steady hand and high concentration are required when the sticks are scattered in a jumble. Win by picking the most sticks or read the bottom of the page for an alternative version! Rules Collect the sticks and let them fall from an upright position into a pile. The first player must then pick up a stick without any other stick moving. If the player succeeds, it is still his/her turn until the pick-up fails. After a failed pick-up, the turn passes to the next player. The player who succeeds in picking up any of the striped sticks may continue to use it as a stick picking aid. The player with the most sticks when all sticks are picked up wins. Alternative version The player with the highest number of points wins.
